Review: Dr. TM Chua of NUH

    Hello guys,

I have been reading online forums since i got pregnant to get some ideas about good gynaes around Singapore. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I noticed that mummies usually prefer to give birth at NUH. They also have good feedback and reviews about the hospital, their gynaes, etc. For one, Dr. TM Chua caught my interest. Anyone who can share their stories and experiences with me about this doctor?

    Hi Halo.

    Congratulations!

Is this your first time to get pregnant?

Well, I had Dr. Chua Tsei Meng with my first baby and it was a nice and wonderful first-time experience. Dr. Chua is extremely good.I had elective c-section and I'm impressed with her stitching, very neat and it healed fast. While other women complained about the pain they felt after the operation, I'm glad I didn't have to experience any of those.

Hey there Karen. Thank you so so much for posting your experience with Dr. Chua TM. It's great to know that someone has good impression about the doctor of your choice, makes me more convinced to have myself listed in the patients' list of Dr. Chua.

Oh, what can you say about her charges?
If you want to talk about it in private it's fine with me.

    Hello to both of you.

I would like to share my unforgettable experience with Dr. Chua TM. She was not my gynae but she was the one who assisted me with elective c-section. I absolutely agree with Karen because I haven't had any painful experience with the stitches after giving birth and we're so glad for choosing her. An interesting trivia about Dr. Chua is that she is known as the darling of c-section at NUH. Her forte is really into the c-section procedure.

Guys do you think Dr. Chua offers counselling or perhaps some involvement to something that caters to new mummies?
I really like to join a group that tackles about being a new mom, how to take care of the baby, how to handle postnatal blues, etc. Others might think that they can do it alone but i want someone to talk to as i went through the process and my mom is kinda far from us so we have no one but ourselves.

    Hi Nora,

How about her natural birth experience? I have been wanting to give birth naturally instead of C-sect. I have already booked an appointment under Dr Chua tho.
