Review: Dr. TC Chang of Thomson Medical Center

    Hello mom-to-be's.

I read several good feedback about Dr. TC Chang online and it got me interested to know him more and hopefully have him as my gynae.

Does anyone here who knows about him? I'm thinking it would be nice to have someone to talk to that has experience with this doctor as a gynae.

    Comment away ladies

    Hello Zoey,

Dr. Chang helped me with high risk health issue way back in 2011. I had 1 miscarriage and 2 cysts in my ovary. All operations were successful for which I'm forever grateful to Dr. Chang. Although he doesn't talk that much but he is nice and very kind. FYI, Dr. Chang is a specialist for high risk pregnancy the same as mine. I hope i was able to help.

    Hi everyone,

I am on my 33rd week already and planning to transfer/change to another gynae because I cannot tolerate my current gynae any longer. It's getting too uncomfortable and awkward between us too. She was okay at first but it seems like she's after the money by insisting on me getting a c-section.

Does Dr. Chang accept transfer clients?
    Please advise.

    Thank you so much.

    Hi there Chichi.

Sad to hear that your gynae is changing. I can feel your situation especially now that you're too close to your EDD. Regarding your question, i am not really sure if he is accepting transfer clients. Best way for you to do is to call or visit his clinic personally and inquire about it.

Hopefully you will get accepted. Good luck

    Hi girls,

    I have great news.

Dr. Chang was kind enough to accept me. In fact, we had talked about birth plans and he advised me to wait for 10-14 days before he will administer labor induction. He told me to stay calm as much as possible and to try my best to deliver the baby naturally so we don't have to resort to c-section. I love his principle for that. My 2nd appointment with him will be on the date of my delivery. Wish me luck

Wow! That is such a wonderful news Chi. I hope and pray for your natural and safe delivery.

    Keep us updated.

    For Zoey:

Have you decided to have Dr. Chang as your gynae?

I just switched to Dr TC Chan during my 2nd trimester. It was highly recommended by a friend. I was pretty happy after seeing him because he is one of the few who does the detailed scanning himself and he is very good in it. Many actually went to him for second opinion for ultrasound scanning to check for abnormality in the fetus.

For detailed ultrasound scanning, you can also consider DR Lai Fon-Min or Dr Ananda, both of them are from Camden and they are also pretty good in doing detailed ultrasound scanning as well.
