How to treat eczema on baby?

    Hellow mommies!

I was really feel bad when I brought my baby to skin specialist and he said that my baby might have eczema (Atopic Dermatitis). our next appointment will be next month but he gave me cetaphil and gave steroid. Its been 2 weeks of using it but I haven't see any improvement. That is why I want to ask you mommies who have babies that have the same situation with my baby, how did you overcome your baby's problem??? did you use the same products? how many weeks did you see improvements?

My baby's skin dr gave us Cetaphil,Topicrem Emulsion Ultra Hydratante, ICM Imulsifying Ointment BP which makes my baby's skin feel better.
I was just bother about the long queue...Two months is too long i guess for another session. I suggest you see another dr if you dont see any improvement after one month.

hello! I think you should wait for some time to see better result. skin type differ, that is why one treatment might not take effect as fast compared with one who have different skin type. just trust your doctor because he knows what he is doing. for the next check up its better also if you'll ask all the questions you've got in mind.

hello mommy, i would like to suggest you some cream but since the dr advised you to observe atleast for a month you cannot use other product as it intervene the healing process...but dont worry just pm me after your observation period and yet you see no good result.

and I agree that you should trust your dr because he/she is the best person to tell which is the best remedy or treatment on such disease.

Thank you all for your replies... I never regret that I opened it up with you mommies! I know you are very willing to give me advices. I will do your advice, I will wait for until one month. I am just hoping that I can see improvement this coming days because baby is too pitiful. Sometimes she scratch it unintentionally.

ahmmm I don't think so. my baby's skin dr didn't mention such to me...I support you with your idea that you should see a skin specialist for your baby. Hi! my baby is having the same type of eczema also. and using the same cream but her dr didn't want us to come back after two months. actually she want us to come back after 3 weeks to check the progress. so far my baby has been using the cream and moisturizer for 2 weeks already and fortunately I am seeing improvement so far.

I will update you mommies after our next check up and I will also ask baby's dr about the "weather thingy".

That's good to hear for your baby. We will appreciate your update after you next check up and I hope that your baby will fully recover from eczema... not only your baby but all the baby having skin problems because they are really pitiful. I'd rather have the skin problem than my baby.
