My baby is kicking a lot in my tummy. Is this normal?

I am nearly 8 months pregnant and my baby is kicking a lot. I wonder if this is normal.

Your baby will be more active when you are lying down because there’s more room for her to move around.

My baby kicks a lot but more so when I’m lying in bed at night trying to sleep. It makes falling asleep so much harder because she’s moving around so much.

My daughter moved nonstop while she was in my womb. When she came out she’s a total wiggle worm. My son didn’t kick a lot when he was inside me, and when he was born, he was totally mellow.

My baby has kicked nonstop. I’m afraid this may not be normal since it’s so active. I don’t know so much cause this is my first pregnancy.

My doctor said my baby’s kicking is a sign that he is healthy and enjoying himself in my womb.

It’s normal to worry since this is your first. Why not call your doctor to put your mind at ease?

They say that girls kick a lot more than boys. I’m sure your baby’s fine. It’s when they’re not kicking that you should be worried.

My doctor told me that when the baby’s kicking seems not to be normal then you should go to the hospital. My friend’s baby was moving way too much but she didn’t go to the hospital. When she did, they found that the baby had died.

I’m 18 weeks and 4 days. My baby kicks the strongest when I get ultrasounds. Today I had an ultrasound and they couldn’t tell if my baby’s a boy or a girl because it wouldn’t stop moving.
